The important thing is not to be bitter over life's disappointments. Learn to let go of the past. Every day won't be sunny. When you find yourself lost in the darkness of despair, remember it's only at the black of night that you see the stars, and it's those stars that will lead you back home. So don't be afraid to make mistakes, to stumble, to fall, because most of the time, the greatest rewards come from the things that scare you the most. Maybe you'll get everything you wished for, maybe, you'll get more than you ever could have imagined. Who knows where life will take you. The road is long, but in the end, the journey is the destination.

Sometimes you wonder what if you had taken a step in another direction, followed your heart instead of your head. You live with the consequences of the here and now, but sometimes it's easier to look past that rather than take the opportunities that life gives you. If I could go back and make those choices again, I would. We all make mistakes but sometimes we need to forgive ourselves before we can let others forgive us. It's harder to take that leap into the unknown than to stick with what you know. Sometimes though, it's that leap that makes everything clearer, and it's sticking to what you know that dims your vision.
