Well, it's almost the end of 2009.. just over 24 hours to go! No idea yet if I'll be in Cardiff or Bristol for it ... guess that's something I should work out tomorrow with people!
I'm horribly tired and apart from being totally distracted by a certain ginger individual, I have done pretty much nothing today!
So, to keep this short and sweet ...
See the title...
I managed to get totally drenched today for the first time in a while. To make matters worse, it was freezing rain too... pah!
Plus, all the cars seemed on a vendetta to get me even more wet by speeding through giant puddles. Not cool!
Plus, I've somehow managed to get no work done.. again.
I was suitably distracted by a post regarding the top rock albums of the decade.... my answers were:

Oh, and I probably should continue with my countdown… 2006 and 2007 today!
2006 – Muse : Knights of Cydonia
2007 – Transformers : Tongue-in-cheek and highly entertaining, it really surprised me how good it was!
That's right, I did it! I actually made a new entry before the end of next year.. so much better than usual!
I'm back off to Cardiff tomorrow and have a pretty full week planned so should be good! No doubt something will go horribly wrong and I'll end up being kidnapped, driven to Barnsley and then sold as a sex slave but, hey, what's life without a little bit of excitement??!
Anyways, it seems a really awful band I used to be in, may well be getting together to make some slightly better material so that'll be pretty cool. I'll upload anything we make to here! Apart from that, nothing much has happened today.. except I found out that 500 days of summer is a good moive! Sad, and happy, but good!
Xmas is done! Well, for another year at least. Was pretty good this year even though there was only seven of us both days..
I got like £250 and a new phone among a bunch of other things including a Stiggy Bank!
How awesome is it...?
But, anyways, back to the lookback! It looks like I've missed a couple of days, again.. so I'm going to have to do 2 years,, in fact lets make it 3!!!... oops!
So, 2002.. Ice Age!
2003..... Bruce Almighty!
2004.... Somebody Told Me - The Killers
Ahhh... memories ;) I actually had a couple of emails telling me to do 2002 as Ice Age and I thought I'd be nice and oblige. Plus, I loved the film too, so why not!!
Fingers crossed, I'll actually manage to update this tomorrow...
It's almost time for Xmas! Under 48 hours 'til Santa comes to visit :) I think I'm going to adopt a child for Xmas, just so i can pretend Santa exists! That'd be happy times for all. But as they say, a child isn't just for Christmas.... spoilsports.
Still, the presents are slowly working themselves out, only have a couple to get now and some cards to deliver, which is good times!
I'm on my way back to Bristol tomorrow, taking the train and all that jazz which should be an experience if the travel system is still all screwed up!
So, if I don't update this for another 4 days, it's because I'm either sat in a train station still or accidentally got the train to Bordeux and will be stuck in France. Though, that would be impressive even for me...
Anyways, back to counting down the noughties! 2001.. hmm, what happened then...
Well, I'm still in London! To cut a long story short, I managed to compeltely miss my train as I slept in until 4pm in the afternoon. I think my body pretty much tanked due to the stupid hours I get to bed at, at uni. Still, it's been fun! I miss being here but Cardiff feels like home nowadays. :)
The next few days are going to be really busy.. but hopefully all good! It's officially going to turn Xmas Day in 3 days! It's crazy to think that 2009 is almost gone, absolutely barmy. Of course, it's even more weird that the 2000s have ended! No doubt I'll be celebrating the 2000s on NYE, but what do you celebrate?! Soooo much has happened! Coming into the Year 2000, i was 10, in Year 5 at primary school and excelling. What went wrong? ;)
But anyways, Christmas is almost upon and I can't wait! I'll be back in Brizzle on Wednesday to count down to the big day and then back to Cardiff a couple of days later, after visiting from London where I stayed from when i visited from Cardiff, where I moved to from Bristol... confused? I am :D
So, quite probably my last day up here in London for a while. My body has decided to come down with a lovely cold, which is just fab and my parents are really pretty ill so all my best laid plans are pretty much going tits-up!
The plan of Bristol til the 28th is out the window as I can't go home while the parents are that ill, so I have the choice of staying here til the 23rd or returning to Cardiff. I really really should get some university work done, so Cardiff is the sensible option. Seems I also won't get to see Lucy, which is also a mega fail on the part of the world.
Still, as a male, I have of course left most of my Xmas shopping to the last minute. I still haven't bought half of my presents and the other half are either en-route or were bought for me by someone else to pay them to give to the person. I really don't help the stereotypical image of man fail at buying Xmas presents, a sensible distance before Xmas. It could well be Christmas Eve shopping for me!
So, to make light of an otherwise annoying chain of events, here's a cat pretending to be an amphibian.
So, it's been ages since I posted anything last! I've been really busy so I let the updating slip a bit, but it's all good now.
In the last few days I've seen Lily Allen, Paramore and Russell Howard all live at the CIA among a number of other support acts :) I'll try and add some pics or something soon! 3 nights of good times. I just had to sleep 13 hours to catch up on all the missed sleep!!!
So, after almost falling asleep on the train to London yesterday, I'm feeling a little more alive this evening. It didn't help that I had a guy trying to speak to me the whole way up to London from Bristol (90 minutes of him talking on and off, argh!). Waking up at 4.30pm does feel like you're wasting your day a bit though, but it's fiiiine.
I'm up in London at the moment visiting family which should be good :) Aiming to have much less messy nights than my last visit though, I think I need some recovery before Christmas.. which coincidentally is now ONLY NINE DAYS! I haven't got any presents for anyone yet though... oooops. We won't worry about that though....
To cut a long story short, I was woken up early this morning by my pet rats. I managed to get to sleep around 6 and at around 8, my rat somehow managed to open the cage and jump into the bag of food 4 foot below. So, is that the world's first basejumping rat?
Anyways, I woke up at 8pm this evening which was pretty bizarre and I'm now in from going out (it's almost 7am..)
Things Established Today
Clubs can be fun, even when packed when you're with good friends
Queues are never fun, especially in the rain
Cheap kebabs taste bad however drunk you are
Gap years, among other events, are fun to plan at 4 in the morning
I am useless at adhering to sleep patterns.
That about sums it up, considering it's been an 11 hour day, it's been pretty eventful!
Oh, and I got asked today who the prettiest celeb is. (woman) Any thoughts? Hottest would be easy, but 'prettiest' is harder to decide...
So, I thought I'd actually get round to starting up my site again! I've been really lax on updating it / doing anything on it at all lately....
The good news
It's a week 'til my birthday! I'll be 20 and I'll be seeing Lily Allen (*ignores audible groans from everyone*) on it. Then it's Russell Howard the next day and Paramore 2 days after that. Fab, fab, fab I say.
I totally booked to see Pendulum and Tiesto in Cardiff next year! Cost me ... too much, but that's not the point. So, who's coming with?!
Oh, and obviously I've been doing some work on the site. So far I've made a fancy diary, improved the music section and made a brand spanking new statistics page. Brilliant.
The bad news
I just realised I haven't slept for the last 40 hours. Bugger. Stupid being busy.
I apparently owe £2 to the library as I forgot I even took out a book.. on one day loan. Oops. There goes my pick-me-up sub for next week!
So, in conclusion...
TIESTO!!!! (anyone notice how very Dutch he sounds...)
